"YFC has had a big impact on my life in multiple ways. This is my freshman year of high school at Kalaheo.  So being able to be a student leader of YFC Summit Club has been a growing experience for my faith. I’ve been able to invite other students from my classes and it’s nice  to have a place where we can hang out and fellowship together, after almost a year of school shutdowns.

The events that YFC Hawaii, led by Kai and the other YFC leaders, have each week are fun and they give us a chance to meet other students.  Whether it’s hiking, bowling, mini golf or the beach, each one is different and I’ve ended up going to places I’d never been or planned on going to. The games and activities they come up with are super creative and fun. Everybody involved always has a good time and we are always excited for the next one. This is a needed change from a year of Corona lockdowns. YFC is helping young people to find God and make it through these desperate times.

Not only are YFC events fun, but all of the people involved are awesome. I have met more new friends through YFC. The kids and staff alike are all welcoming loving people. Everyone at a YFC gathering considers me their friend, even if you barely know them, which means a lot to me. The people at YFC make one big family that’s always happy to have you with them and I’m very thankful to be a part of that. Thank you for giving us hope during these trying times."
