After walking with God for the past 12 years, the Lord has called Doug to leave his position as a video producer (for KALO) in order to step into full time ministry. Doug has spent many years in the past working with YFC as a Campus Life Director at McKinley, Kaimuki, Roosevelt, and Farrington High Schools. His longstanding roots with Youth for Christ have provided an opportunity for further ministry, starting with Farrington High School. With a heart for teens and young adults, Doug is grateful to contribute to the genuine ministry facilitated through Youth for Christ.

β€œFor me, the passing of time has been the true test, showing the effectiveness of Youth for Christ in our community. Many of the young people I have met through YFC, are now, years later, serving in churches. Guys like Kolea (above), who after being a part of the YFC club at McKinley High School in 2018, is now going through a discipleship program, and is giving his time to serve at his church. It has been an effective model of meeting students where they are, building relationships, leading them to Christ, and connecting them with churches within their local communities to continue their growth and walk with Jesus.” -Doug
